1968 Chevrolet Camaro project Barn Find.

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro project has been sitting in a barn since 1990. It was a 327 2 Barrel with a powerglide transmission. It does come with the original engine and transmission, but the block is cracked.

This car has VERY NICE FRAME RAILS! The floors will need minimal pan work. Under the rear seat is very nice and all of the floor cross braces are very clean. The front subframe mounts are great shape. The trunk pan will need some repairs, but not a full pan. The rear shock towers are nice, the passenger side one has some rust just behind the tower, but is a easy fix.

The car will need rear quarter panels, someone put lower quarters over the original ones years ago. It is an original Deluxe Interior car and interior is pretty complete. It is missing the radio, but the radio hole has not been cut. Vin Tag is on the dash, cowl tag is missing. Car will need a complete restoration but is a great car to start with. Car rolls and steers for easy loading.

Seller describes this project car as a 1969 Camaro RS SS – Matching Numbers 350/300hp. Factory Turbo 350 Automatic transmission. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Project will start up and run and sounds fine, however, will need to be totally serviced from sitting.

As described by the seller, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Project is an original Hugger Orange paint code 72. The body is pretty straight, has some small dents in the body and a dent in the drivers side front fender in the nose. The body has some small rust holes, scally and bubbling down low in the body. Just would need some very small patch panels to fix it right, nothing major. The roof is scally and has some very small holes from having a factory vinyl roof. The lower trunk pan has some rust holes, the upper trunk pan and shock towers look good. The floor pan looks good and it’s all original. To the best of my knowledge it looks like a good part of the Hugger Orange Paint is original.

The White Deluxe Houndstooth interior code 729, is in fair shape and could use some interior work from old age. The car has bucket seats, console, tilt wheel, very rare console 8 Track Player. Factory AM Radio.

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Project has Power Steering, Power Brakes, Multi Leaf Springs with 12 bolt rear end. Original 14X7 SS Wheels.
